What is Ternify?

Ternify is a beautiful habit tracking app for iOS that helps you build consistent, life-changing habits. Named after the Arctic Tern (a bird known for its incredible 25,000-mile annual migration with unwavering consistency), Ternify embodies the same dedication to helping you maintain your daily routines.

How do I create a new habit?

Tap the "+" button on the main screen, give your habit a name, choose how often you want to do it (daily, weekly, custom), and optionally set a reminder. You can also add notes, choose an icon and color to personalize each habit.

Does Ternify sync across devices?

Yes! Ternify uses iCloud to seamlessly sync your habits across all your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad). Your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. Just make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID on all devices and have iCloud enabled for Ternify.

Is there a subscription?

No! Ternify uses a fair, one-time purchase model. Pay once (€4.99) to unlock all premium features forever. No recurring subscriptions, no hidden fees. We believe in honest pricing for a quality product.

What features are included in Premium?

Premium unlocks unlimited habits (free version allows 3 habits), advanced analytics and insights, custom themes and colors, detailed statistics and charts, habit history export, and priority support.

How do streaks work?

A streak tracks how many consecutive days you've completed a habit. Complete your habit every day to build your streak. Miss a day and your streak resets to zero. Ternify shows your current streak and your longest streak to keep you motivated!

Can I set reminders for my habits?

Yes! You can set custom reminders for each habit. Choose the time that works best for you, and Ternify will send you a notification to help you stay on track. You can enable or disable reminders at any time.

Is my data private?

Absolutely! Your data is stored locally on your device and (optionally) in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, store, or share your personal information. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I export my habit data?

Yes! Premium users can export their habit data in CSV or JSON format. This is great for backing up your data, analyzing it in other tools, or just keeping a personal record of your progress.

What iOS version do I need?

Ternify requires iOS 17.0 or later. We build with the latest iOS features to provide the best possible experience with modern design, smooth animations, and cutting-edge functionality.

I lost my streak by accident. Can you restore it?

Unfortunately, we can't restore streaks as all data is stored locally on your device. However, remember that missing one day doesn't erase all your progress! The important thing is the overall consistency you've built. One missed day is just a small setback on your long-term journey.

How do I delete a habit?

Swipe left on any habit in your list and tap the delete button. You can also tap on a habit to view its details and find the delete option there. Note: Deleting a habit cannot be undone, so make sure you really want to remove it!

Can I customize the app's appearance?

Yes! Ternify supports both light and dark mode, automatically following your system settings. Premium users can also choose custom accent colors and themes to personalize their experience.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Ternify on your new device, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase. Your premium features will be automatically restored.
